Commercial cleaning is more than just bleach in a bucket. There are safety protocols and standards to be met in order to ensure all jobs are done properly and thoroughly for the safety of anyone entering the site. All of our technicians are fully certified and trained to handle any environment, from hospitals to biohazard spills. For us, when it comes to health and safety, there's no room for error.
In an effort to limit damage to the environment, we have all of our technicians certified by the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) in the latest methods and products of green cleaning available.

n the beginning, fresh out of high school in the year of 1981, I applied to the Goodwill Institutional for the disabled. At Goodwill I was taught to train disabled people how to strip and wax floors using a buffer machine. This was a challenge for some of my students as they were working with only one arm. I was so good at teaching I received an award from Channel 9 called “Do the right thing”.
Years later I worked at the Clarion Hotel as a floor tech. I stripped and waxed floors and then shampooed carpets. I stayed with this company for approximately 5 years.
In 1991 I got married my wife. She had a 6 year old daughter. My wife, Deb started cleaning houses. Deb wanted to be there for our daughter before and after school. On summer days and days off school Nina went with Deb to play while Deb cleaned. All the clients loved when Nina came with Deb. Nina played and swam with their kids.
Around 1992 I started helping my wife with her house cleaning jobs. Deb was pregnant with our 1st child. It was funny to Deb because I had no idea how to dust, what to dust, because I had never looked for dust. While working with my wife, Debbie I learned the art of dusting and making beds.
Debbie was so pregnant she would often leave me to do the house cleaning jobs on my own. It was my wife’s clients but they accepted me too. Before I knew it I was handling all the duties that homeowner had written out on their cleaning or to do list. When the client came home I had to fine tune anything that I missed. Before I knew it I realized that it would be a good idea to strike on my own picking up Residential cleaning jobs here and there to supplement our income.
I started this in 1995 and by 1999 I was doing cleaning as a small business full time. I named my business Today's Cleaning Service which I changed to Ron's Cleaning Service on 07/10/2021 as we now live in Columbia, MO. I was a man cleaning homes and we started cleaning green which was gaining popularity.
I want my customers to know and feel not only that they are getting a superior cleaning of their homes, but it was also important to me, that the customer felt comfortable with my morals, values and integrity!
One of the biggest benefits to you the homeowner is that you are relieved from cleaning your home on the weekend. Our motto is “Your weekends weren’t made for housework!” You can now hire someone who will clean just as well if not better then you would. I know you don't clean behind the toilet :-).
