Hello, I’m Ron Brown, this page is a bit about me and my passion for cleaning.
In the beginning fresh out of high school in the year 1981, I went to the Goodwill Institutional for the disabled. I learned to train disabled people how to strip and wax floors with a buffer machine.
This was a challenge for some of my students as they were working with only one arm. I was so good at teaching cleaning techniques that I received an award, from
Channel 9 called, “Do the right thing”.
After that, I obtained employment with the Clarion Hotel, as a floor tech. I stripped, waxed and buffed floors. I also shampooed carpets. I stayed with this company for approximately 5 years.
In 1992, I was working at Barnes Hospital, in the animal department , but that job just wasn't right for me.
My wife was cleaning homes, so I began to help Debbie, my wife, with her housecleaning jobs. Debbie was also pregnant at this time. I realized that even though, I worked at the Clarion Hotel as a floor tech, I never had to dust.
I had no idea how to dust, or what to dust, because I had never looked for dust. I had always done the floors and bathrooms. While working with my wife, Debbie I learned the art of dusting and making beds.
Debbie, at around 7 months pregnant would often leave me to do the housecleaning jobs on my own. It was my wife’s clients but they accepted me too.
Before I knew it, I was handling all the duties that homeowner had written out on their cleaning or to do list. When the client came home I had to fine tune anything that I missed.
That’s how I started picking up other Residential cleaning clients. It was, word of mouth, referrals! I started this in 1994 and by 1999 I was doing cleaning full-time and running my own cleaning business
